Upper East Side Apartment

The kitchen is built around a pale stone island that waterfalls to the floor at its end, faced in reeded wood on the seating side. Full-height wood cabinetry holds stacked wall ovens, and the same stone runs up the wall behind the sink.

The wood carries into the living room as low built-in cabinetry and a lit display niche, over chevron-laid wood floors. Black-framed glass sliding doors sit at the kitchen's edge, and a wall of black-framed windows opens to a terrace.
